Nebraska vs. Colorado rivalry just got a bit more intriguing

It was always going to be heated. Nebraska versus Colorado may not reach the heights that Michigan versus Ohio State or Auburn versus Alabama do, but this is a rivalry that goes all the way back to 1898. There's no love lost between the Buffaloes and Cornhuskers.

Add Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders, and this matchup was hot as fire last season. The Huskers traveled to Boulder to try to quell the early-season hype that surrounded Sanders and the Buffaloes. They left beat up after a 36-14 statement win by Colorado in front of a rowdy and reinvigorated home crowd.

Now, head coach Matt Rhule and the Huskers have a shot at revenge. They're a year deeper into Rhule's trusty system, and now they have hype on their side in the form of five-star freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola.

Even if Raiola doesn't play because he's not yet ready for that type of moment, the Huskers will still have the hype on their side.

It was announced recently that the game, to be played on Sept. 7 at Nebraska's Memorial Stadium, is going to be under the lights.

It was always going to be an intriguing matchup, but now this game has become must-see television.

Nebraska has long been dormant, but the Huskers easily have some of the best fans in the country. Between an underrated tailgating scene and the intrigue of seeing if the Huskers can knock Sanders and Colorado down another peg or two — this one is undoubtedly going to get rowdy.
